The Headache of Marketing 2

Hello my Ravens. In my first post about the headache of marketing I talked about the many creative ways I try to sell my books. Another important skill to learn is networking. If you have friends who have their own website or Blog, see if they might advertise you in a post. In exchange you could some advertising for them and spread the word about their site. Odds are you know a lot of people the other doesn't and Vice-versa. Now just for fun, here are three more of my marketing memes I've made.

Why are so many people turned off by Horror?

Whether it be a book signing or a writers conference people definitely have a different look on their face when they get to my table. Their eyes get wide when they see my book covers and 9 times out of 10 they do the fake little shiver then say "Oh, I don't like Horror. I have nightmares" In turn I want to vomit. A sample from Accents of Horror- Story 1 " A Stranger in the rain."

Danny Miller drove aimlessly down the dark road squinting through each swipe of the wiper blades. About 15 miles back, the rain began in sprinkles and the transformed into a full-out monsoon. This was a recipe for disaster considering he had not slept in close to forty-eight hours. Luckily he had seen little traffic on this highway thus far. And at least he had quit drinking.
